
Hmm…where do I begin? The amount of e-trash that I never seen is staggering. I’m not really surprise that companies choose to ship them to some undeveloped country and let it sit there. It’s cheaper and more hassle free then to send it to some recycling plant. Of course the local population don't really get anything out of this other then being sick or having the environment damaged.I mean can somebody imagine if the United States had mountains of e-waste sitting around on the ground that was sent in from other countries? That would be the ultimate irony wouldn’t it.

The United States already has mountains of waste -- just not e-waste. The true irony here is that we buy products from China that are contaminated with the chemicals that we sent to them... as mentioned in the article. I think that's funny in a super twisted way.
